The Tulip Hill journey

The Tulip Hill Recovery journey begins when a person acknowledges that they need help. You may come to the realization on your own as you sense drugs or alcohol are taking over your life. Or, you may have friends or family members who encourage you to seek treatment. Either way, when you reach out to us for assistance, we’ll talk to you about the services that we offer and whether we are the right fit for your needs.

Our small team of admissions coordinators will walk you through the steps to seeking treatment if you decide you would like to pursue the road to recovery. If you feel unsure that we are the right team to support you on your journey, we are still committed to helping you find the right source of care, so please never hesitate to contact us if you’re struggling with addiction.

Clinical Services

The clinical program offered at Tulip Hill Recovery consists of two different levels of care; partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient, both of which include case management and medication management, if needed. Throughout the duration of our program, our clinical staff provides our clients with the tools needed to obtain lasting recovery.

Each client’s individualized treatment plan is designed to support his or her long term goals. By providing individualized support we are able to build the self-esteem of each of our clients and we continue to see positive outcomes. Our continuum of care is specifically designed to assist our clients in creating a future that is worth staying sober for.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

Partial Hospitalization is traditionally a 30 day treatment model. This allows our clients to benefit from effective therapeutic care and supervision throughout the day, working with our team of clinical and medical professionals. At this level of care, clients are immersed in therapeutic treatment for most of the duration of the day. The structure at this level of care is specifically designed as an intervention to effect positive, long term changes for those struggling with alcohol abuse, substance abuse, and/ or co-occurring disorders.

Clients attend 25 to 30 hours of groups per week, including:

  • Relapse Prevention
  • Coping Skills
  • Lifeskills
  • Yoga/ Mindfulness
  • Psychoeducation
  • Family of Origin
  • Trauma specific group
  • Recreational Therapy
  • Nutritionist/Dietician

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Tulip Hill Recovery provides individualized therapeutic care, group therapy, and case management services as part of our intensive outpatient program. This level of care is divided into two phases. Clients in phase one of IOP participate in group five days per week, clients in phase two step down to three days of group therapy per week. Clients in both phases have the opportunity to continue to meet with their primary therapist for individual sessions throughout both phases of this level of care.

The goal is to slowly transition you back into the real world by continuing to support your recovery and equipping you with the skills to readjust into daily life outside of treatment. Intensive outpatient is oftentimes the natural progression from a residential substance use disorder program, but can also be a beneficial resource for people in the community who may not be appropriate for inpatient treatment. Our admissions staff will provide assessments in order to assist people with finding the correct level of care.

"This program did more than save my life, it gave me one worth living. Through working with the clinical team as well as the rest of the staff I was able to find the things that were getting in the way of me living a drug-free life. The structure of the program helped lay the groundwork for my new life by creating a healthy routine and motivating me to put action towards bettering myself. Thanks to Tulip Hill Recovery's staff and their efforts to help me begin my new life, I’ve been inspired to give back by working with others suffering from substance abuse."
