Unlocking A better future

Life After Treatment

Just because you have finished treatment at Tulip Hill does not mean that you no longer have access to our team and support. We will continue to help you develop the skills you need to live a normal, productive life after recovery, and we will help you work through any triggers that may tempt you to relapse.

With Tulip Hill, you always have a community to lean on that can help you maintain a life of sobriety and freedom.

Building support

An important part of overcoming addiction is having people you trust who you can rely on to support you through your recovery. These people can be a source of encouragement, strength and accountability.

During your initial recovery at Tulip Hill, we’ll provide your family with the resources they need to equip themselves to provide support for you. They can help you avoid situations and triggers that may tempt you to relapse. They can be a source of love and comfort in a safe and healthy environment.

You’ll also have the support of the Tulip Hill Recovery community. Our staff and other clients who have gone through recovery can be a system of encouragement and accountability to help pull you through the tough and tempting times.

Making Changes

During treatment you gain tools to take with you so that you can make lifestyle changes to promote physical and mental health and well-being. An exercise routine, a healthy diet and professional counseling can all help you maintain your health and sobriety.

Our team will help you identify ways in which you can improve your health and reduce stressors in your life that can trigger a relapse.

“Trauma is anything that happens to us for which we don’t have adequate coping skills.”

Healthy Coping Skills

Often, addiction to alcohol or substance abuse happens as a result of us trying to cope with  trauma, mental health disorders, or excessive stress. During recovery, our clients develop healthy coping skills to replace the use of substances or alcohol as coping mechanisms. Not only does this help keep you off of substances and alcohol, but it also helps you become a stronger, more independent and healthy person.

Our team can help you identify what triggers substance and alcohol use. Then we will help you develop healthier coping skills based on your specific circumstances to help you deal with the real problems instead of turning to substances and alcohol.

Finding Hope For Your Future

No one can promise that life after addiction treatment will be easy, but what we can do is help you equip yourself with better skills and be a lifelong resource and partner in your recovery journey. We are here to talk to you and answer any questions you may have about managing your recovery and navigating the challenges that tempt you to use again.

"This program did more than save my life, it gave me one worth living. Through working with the clinical team as well as the rest of the staff I was able to find the things that were getting in the way of me living a drug-free life. The structure of the program helped lay the groundwork for my new life by creating a healthy routine and motivating me to put action towards bettering myself. Thanks to Tulip Hill Recovery's staff and their efforts to help me begin my new life, I’ve been inspired to give back by working with others suffering from substance abuse."
