Our addiction specialist in Murfreesboro exhibits determination in teaching clients healthy coping skills that lead to sustainable solutions and successful outcomes. Additionally, we value communication within our team as this enables us to  synchronize our treatment efforts and, therefore, work more efficiently.

Ben Jones, MS

Chief Executive Officer

Ben’s responsibilities include supervising and managing the staff while working with them to create an environment where our clients can maximize their potential. He is committed to motivating and empowering the clients and working with the team to help every person that comes to Tulip Hill Recovery. Ben graduated with his Master of Science in Applied Psychology from Lynn University. He received his Bachelor of Science at Middle Tennessee State University and is originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Tess Jones, BA, LMT, RYT

Co-founder

Tess is responsible for planning and upholding policies and procedures for Tulip Hill Recovery. She works to ensure organizational effectiveness and improve day to day operations for the facility. Tess maintains vendor relationships, processes payroll and ensures appropriate and timely reporting to State, Local and Federal agencies. She also works with the clients to restore a connection between their mind’s and bodies by leading yoga and mindfulness groups. Tess was raised in New Jersey and graduated with honors from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and a licensed massage therapist (LMT), having attended Palm Beach State College in Boca Raton, Florida.

Brittany Robinson

Executive Director

As Director of Admissions, Brittany guides individuals who are going through some of the most difficult times of their lives by laying out a path for them to successfully begin their recovery journey. Brittany is also involved in dealing directly with client families, and assists in guiding them through the process of supporting a loved one through treatment. Brittany’s personal recovery journey has supplied her passion for working in the field and given her empathy and insight when helping those suffering from substance abuse.

Riley Curry

Director of Admissions

As a former client of Tulip Hill Recovery, Riley’s personal recovery journey has fueled his passion for working in the field and assisting those who are starting their recovery journey. He has gained experience working in a variety of roles at Tulip Hill, such as Behavioral Health Technician and Director of Residential Services. Currently, as Alumni Coordinator for both facilities, he lends support and guidance to our clients from the beginning of their journey to long after they leave the program. Riley strives to help maintain a sense of community between past and present clients of Tulip Hill, as well as offering support and guidance once they leave our facility.

Hailey Williams

Administrative Coordinator

Before joining Tulip Hill, Hailey served in various administrative roles for several small businesses in Murfreesboro. As our Administrative Coordinator, she has a broad range of responsibilities such as completing new hire onboarding, assisting with planning and implementing policies and procedures, coordinating payroll and benefits, and various other tasks that serve our staff. Her organizational skills and ability to multitask help to provide smooth operations for the facility.

Laura Beth Johnson, LPC-MHSP

Lead Therapist

Laura Beth is one of our primary therapists and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Mental Health Service Provider. She gained clinical experience working as a therapist at an inpatient facility treating individuals who struggle with addiction while providing support and direction to their family members. She also has experience working in pediatric and medical settings. Laura Beth is passionate about working with those struggling with substance abuse issues. She practices brain spotting as a way to process past trauma with clients in a safe therapeutic environment.

Casey Hillis, M. Ed, NCC

Clinical Director

Casey is one of our primary therapists and is a Nationally Certified Counselor with a master’s degree in Education. Casey has been working in the substance abuse field for six years and is passionate about increasing the overall confidence of individuals in recovery. She practices brainspotting along with trauma informed therapy as a way to process past trauma with clients in a safe and therapeutic environment. Casey also works individually with clients struggling with codependency, love, and relationship issues.

Amy Brawner

Case Manager

Amy’s responsibilities include coordinating all necessary services for clients to optimize their time spent in our facility. She works closely with our clients helping them with legal issues, continuing education, and after care planning. Amy’s personal recovery journey has led her to pursue a career allowing her to help others in early recovery. Amy is passionate about using her role to set up each client for success when they leave the program.
