Riley Curry brings a unique perspective to his role as Executive Director at Tulip Hill Recovery, grounded in his personal experience as both a former client and a seasoned professional in the field. With a Bachelor’s of Arts in Graphic Design and six years working in the treatment industry, Riley has a keen eye for both the visual and practical aspects of recovery center management.
Riley’s personal recovery journey deeply impacts his approach to treatment. He believes that patience and understanding are crucial to fostering an environment where individuals can heal and transform. He finds profound fulfillment in witnessing clients progress through their recovery, achieving their goals, and rediscovering joy and purpose in their lives. This is evident in how he leads Tulip Hill Recovery—ensuring that each client is treated with the utmost respect and acceptance, a testament to the positive, supportive community he has helped cultivate.

Hailey Williams
HR Manager
Hailey serves as the HR Manager at Tulip Hill Recovery, where she leverages her previous experience in administration to create a workplace that champions mental health and well-being. She is driven by her belief in the transformative power of mental health support and her desire to make a meaningful impact in the workplace by helping others access the resources they need for a healthier life.
She finds great fulfillment in knowing that her role directly contributes to a workplace where employees feel valued and are encouraged to use their strengths effectively. Her work is guided by the mantra, “When we prioritize mental health, we create a space where everyone can succeed and thrive together,” which reflects her vision for a nurturing work culture.
Hailey’s dedication to fostering a culture of healing, growth, and resilience makes her an integral part of Tulip Hill Recovery’s mission, where her efforts ensure that the organization remains a leading example of how prioritizing mental health in the workplace can lead to profound organizational success. Outside of work, Hailey is an avid traveler and podcast listener, enjoys spending quality time with her family and her dog, and actively volunteers with the Junior League of Murfreesboro. Casey Hillis, LPC-MHSP, NCC
Clinical Director
As the Clinical Director at Tulip Hill Recovery, Casey Hillis brings a wealth of experience and a deep-seated passion for supporting individuals through their recovery journey. With eight years in the field and certifications as an LPC-MHSP (Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider) and NCC (National Certified Counselor), Casey has dedicated her career to creating a therapeutic environment that feels both accessible and impactful.
Casey’s path to substance abuse treatment began organically during graduate school, where she discovered a natural alignment with addiction recovery work while gaining experience at other treatment facilities. Since then, she has embraced this field wholeheartedly, finding purpose in helping clients navigate the complexities of recovery. Guided by the philosophy to “meet clients where they are,” Casey aims to create a therapeutic experience that is laid-back, personable, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Outside of work, Casey enjoys expressing creativity through art projects, exploring new interests through spontaneous drives, and reading. This curiosity and love for discovery further enriches their approach to therapy, making Casey a compassionate and dynamic leader at Tulip Hill Recovery.
Amy Brawner
Case Manager
Amy serves as a Case Manager at Tulip Hill Recovery, bringing a deeply personal commitment to her role. Certified as a Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), Amy has 2.5 years of professional experience guided by her own journey through recovery. This personal insight fuels her passion for assisting others along a similar path, finding her true calling in the field of addiction recovery.
Amy was inspired by the compassion and dedication she observed in recovery staff during her own treatment, which resonated deeply with her, helping her discover her purpose. In her approach to case management, Amy emphasizes the importance of building trust and rapport. She collaborates closely with clients to help support them in advocating for themselves, and aids them in recognizing and fostering their strengths. Her guiding mantra, “We are stronger together,” underscores her belief in the power of collective effort and community support in the recovery process.
Her involvement with the addiction community is not just a career but a calling that she embraces wholeheartedly, driven by a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Outside of work, Amy cherishes time spent with her children, loved ones, and horses, finding joy and relaxation in these personal moments.

Matthew Ignace
Primary Therapist
As a Primary Therapist, Matthew brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to helping individuals find freedom from their struggles. With a background in BSP (Brainspotting) and ISEP (Integrative Somatic Experiencing Practitioner), and currently interning as a LADAC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor), Matthew approaches therapy with four years of experience and a heart full of compassion.
Driven by the belief that healing begins with being truly seen and heard, he creates a safe, welcoming space where clients can share their stories openly. His approach to treatment is grounded in openness, understanding, and a genuine desire to support clients on their journey to recovery and self-discovery. For those beginning their treatment, Matthew’s advice is simple yet powerful: “Stay!” He emphasizes that the journey is not about finding immediate answers, but about asking the questions that lead to deeper self-awareness and growth.
Outside of work, Matthew is passionate about activities that encourage both physical and mental well-being, such as ice baths, sound baths, slacklining, roller coasters, and continual learning through reading. His dedication to supporting individuals and families through recovery makes him an invaluable part of the Tulip Hill Recovery team, fostering a compassionate environment where clients can find the strength to heal and grow.
Ashley Jackson
Primary Therapist
Ashley serves as one of our Primary Therapists at Tulip Hill Recovery, bringing a wealth of experience, compassion, and dedication to her role. An alumnus of MTSU and Belmont University, Ashley holds certifications as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist and Certified Recovery Coach and Trainer, and she is currently completing her training as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. With a decade of experience across Recovery Care Advocacy, Alumni Services, and Primary Therapy, she is committed to helping clients discover their potential and embrace fulfilling, substance-free lives.
The most rewarding part of Ashley’s work is witnessing the moment a client gains new insights about themselves and begins to envision a future filled with possibilities. Her advice to those starting their recovery journey is to bring an open mind, a willingness to try new approaches, and honesty with oneself. Guided by the mantra, “Progress, not perfection,” Ashley is passionate about her own recovery program and is committed to giving back what she has received.
Outside of work, Ashley loves spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, cooking, singing, reading, and enjoying time with her beloved cat. Her compassion and dedication make her a vital member of the Tulip Hill Recovery team, helping clients move toward brighter, healthier futures.
Alex “Don” Ellis
Primary Therapist
Alex “Don” Ellis is a compassionate and dedicated Primary Therapist at Tulip Hill Recovery, holding a Master’s in Social Work and bringing six years of experience to the field. Driven by a desire to make a positive impact, Don’s journey into social work was deeply influenced by personal experiences with mental health challenges. This background fuels a unique empathy and connection with clients, enabling him to provide genuine support, guidance, and resources to those navigating their own recovery journeys.
Emphasizing the client’s role in shaping their own recovery, Don provides guidance while maintaining an open-door policy for questions and additional support, fostering a safe, non-judgmental space for healing. His advice to clients is simple yet powerful: “Recovery is a journey, not a destination. It’s okay to have setbacks. What matters most is that you keep moving forward, even if it’s one small step at a time.” This is complemented by a favorite quote from Nelson Mandela: “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall,” which serves as a reminder of the resilience required in the journey to recovery.
Outside of work, Don values self-care, enjoying movies and quality time with loved ones to recharge and maintain balance. This commitment to well-being ensures Don is fully equipped to support each client on their path to recovery, and fuels his excitement to be part of your journey and to help you improve your quality of life.
Timothy Ramsey
BHT Supervisor
Timothy “Ramsay” serves as the Director of Residential Services at Tulip Hill Recovery, bringing with him a personal commitment to the healing journey of each client. With a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential and 1.5 years of dedicated experience in the field, he has a profound understanding of the transformative impact of compassionate care.
His decision to work in this field stems from his own experiences and the support he received during his recovery. He is driven by a desire to give back, embodying the principle of service and support that was crucial to his own journey. This has helped shape his approach to client care that is characterized by patience, compassion, and an understanding that everyone’s recovery path is unique. His advice to those entering treatment is straightforward yet profound: “Just surrender. Give it a chance and see how you like it.”
